From my initial contact with GFE Fencing through to the site visit and quotation process, it was evident that they are a highly professional company that places customer service at the forefront of their operations.

During the site survey, the team took the time to assess the requirements thoroughly and proposed several solutions for replacing my property gates. Their various pricing options recommendations were based on the underlying issues and their extensive industry experience, rather than simply offering the most expensive option. In addition, they suggested a temporary measure to prevent further problems until the permanent work could be completed. Shaun kindly implemented this temporary fix during the quotation visit at no additional cost, which was greatly appreciated.

The quotation was provided within the agreed timeframe and, once accepted, I was kept fully informed throughout the scheduling process. The installation was completed as expected, with Shaun providing regular updates on progress, highlighting any issues encountered, and explaining how they would be addressed.

The quality of the workmanship was excellent. The new installation blends seamlessly with the existing fencing and integrates perfectly with the gate automation system. Furthermore, the work area was left clean and tidy, reflecting the team's attention to detail and professional approach.

Although a minor issue arose a few days after completion, it was handled promptly and professionally. Following a quick call to Shaun, every effort was made to resolve the matter remotely. When it became clear that a site visit was required, an appointment was arranged for the following day at short notice to ensure the issue was resolved quickly and that my property remained secure.

I would not hesitate to recommend GFE Fencing and will certainly use their services again in the future. Their commitment to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service sets them apart.

Shaun did a brilliant job with our fencing and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. We had a long stretch of fencing to install over quite uneven ground, with the added complication of several mature trees along the fence line whose roots we were particularly concerned about.

Rather than simply suggesting the trees be removed to make the job easier, Shaun took our concerns seriously and recommended a local arborist to assess the health of some of them first, which was especially helpful as we’re new to the area and didn’t know who to contact. He then took great care when working around the trees and their roots, which we really appreciated.

The finished fence looks fantastic and feels incredibly solid and well built. Shaun also gave us really good advice on the type of fencing to use, so we’ve managed to make the garden secure without losing the lovely views across the fields behind us.

Everything was left tidy and all the waste was collected afterwards. We’re really pleased with the finished result and will definitely be asking Shaun back for more work in the future. Highly recommended!

Used Shaun at Garden Fencing Essex for new fencing at home, and from the first quote to the finished job it was a great experience. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the attention to detail really stood out. If you’re looking for a professional, reliable fencing contractor in Essex who provides premium garden fencing, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Shaun. Shaun was punctual, tidy and completed the installation to a very high standard. Delighted with the finished result and would definitely use Garden Fencing Essex again.

Garden Fencing Essex recently replaced our garden fence using Jackson's T & G panels and concrete posts and gravel boards. Relatively straightforward job and carried out to a high standard. Arrived on time and worked consistently until job was complete. High standard of workmanship with close attention to detail. We are very pleased with the finished job. You will find cheaper quotes but I doubt you will get this quality or accuracy of work and products.
We would highly recommend Shaun and his team.

Stopped to get some fencing supplies to repair a fence at home. Whilst they had locked up ready to go home after a long week, they unlocked found what I required and even cut it for me. Above and beyond customer service. So helpful nothing was too much. If I need anything else fencing, I'll certainly return.
